There is no one in this beauty blogosphere who doesn’t know about NYX SMLCs. Their SMLCs are highly raved product of all time. After getting my hands on NYX SMLCs, it is the time to try their immensely popular liquid suede cream range and from that, I picked up Soft spoken few months back. So today I will be reviewing NYX Liquid Suede cream Lipstick in Soft Spoken.

Final verdict: If you are in search of perfect mauve-y nude lip creams then I would highly recommend you this lipstick. It offers superb matte finish, comfortable to wear and the color is to die for. So all lipstickoholic people go and grab it.

Packaging: Lip cream comes in a no-fuss cylindrical tube with doe foot applicator attached inside. Related information is written on the bottle itself. The bottle itself is transparent so you can identify the shade easily from the stack of lipsticks.
Shade: Soft spoken is an excellent mauve-y nude. This shade would flatter fair to medium skin tones but dusky beauties may find the shade a bit washing out. I have heard that it is the exact dupe of Kat Von D Lolita. ( I know you are gonna thanking me for this).
My opinion about the product: Texture is very soft and creamy, glides on lips like a dream. It goes fully opaque in one swipe and covers up my pigmented lips beautifully. Highly pigmented, a single application is enough for full coverage. The formula is exactly like SMLC but a bit liquidy compare to other matte lip creams. When applied it gives very satin velvety finish but within 3-4 minutes or so it dries down to comfortable matte finish, no stretchy feeling, no dry patches either. For its super creamy formula, it takes little more time to settle down. Yes, it dries up the lips or hastens dryness if not moisturized properly. So I would suggest you to prep up your lips before putting it on.
It stays on forever. The color remains intact on my lips for 8+ hours with little munching in between. It survives full meal with little fading in the center. But it doesn’t survive anything oily. The pigment can only be removed with oil based makeup remover.I think that may be the reason for not surviving oily meal.

ReplyDeleteI have recently turned a lipsticoholic and every time I see some one wearing a new share my eyes go on the lips. Well that gets little embarrassing also. :-) jokes apart I liked this lip colour havent tried this brand but given your review I am very keen to try them asap.
