My 5 Favorite Red Lipstick Shades

I got many requests from my friends & readers to share my lipstick collection. To be honest it is not that huge as you guys are thinking 😉. A lot of you also asked me to share my favorite red lipsticks. If you are regular reader of my blog then you will definitely know that how much crazy I am for the red shades. So I finally decided to do a post on my 5 favorite red lipstick brands. Apart from these five lipsticks I also have one favorite red shade from MAC Ruby Woo but unfortunately my pocket is not allowing me to buy it. If my hubby will ever read this post then he will say “पुरे टाइम रोती रहती हो”. Then I will say “MAC की लिपस्टिक ना होने का दर्द तुम क्या जानो हिमांशु बाबू” 😜. Jokes apart it's not about money but  generally I prefer to buy budget friendly products.

1. Elle-18 Color Pops Matte Selfie Red (R34)

Elle-18 has launched the ‘Color Pops Matte Lipsticks’ range in India with 20 beautiful shades. Being a Red shade lover my first choice was selfie red shade of this range. It is a warm red shade; a kind of shade which newly married girls would love to wear. It is highly pigmented and two swipes will give you an opaque finish. This lipstick is available at dirt cheap price of Rs.100 so basically it is a super affordable lipstick. 

2. Maybelline Super Stay 14 Hr Non Stop Red (510) Lipstick

It is a bright red shade with slight pink undertones. This shade is super pigmented and only one swipe is sufficient to get the actual shade. It has semi matte texture and will look good on fair and medium skin tone. The staying power of this lipstick is super awesome and it even survives heavy meals. It’s a must have lipstick in a girl’s vanity as it can instantly light up your tired face or entire look. I bought this lipstick online for Rs.575;  a bit expensive but worth buying.

3. Ellewin New Fashion Lipstick

Might be possible that you have never heard about this brand. I bought this crayon from a local market for Rs. 50 only. This lipstick is also available online and believe me it's worth buying. It is amazingly pigmented and has a long staying power. I am using many expensive lipsticks but pretty impressed with quality that this brand offering at price of 50 Rs only.
4. Nykaa Rebellious Red (Shade no. 10) Paintstix

It is a Red with warm brown undertones shade. It is immensely pigmented and in one swipe it gives almost opaque coverage. It is a creamy matte lipsticks so the formula is a mix of creamy and hydrating one that gives a satiny or velvety matte finish.

5. Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming (Guilt) Lipstick

I received this lipstick in a subscription box. It is a hot red shade which instantly glam up your look even you haven’t applied any makeup. It is a highly pigmented shade and maximum two swipes are required for opaque coverage. This lipstick has amazing staying powers and in my case it stays around 6 hours and then fades away leaving behind a tint. I am in love with this lipstick but no doubt you have to pay a heavy amount (Rs.1560) for it.
