When Lakmé launched their Eyeconic range, it created a lot of hype. I instantly bought Kajal or Kohl of this range (click Here to read complete review) but never tried the Mascara. Finally I bought it few days back & reviewing it in this post. No doubt I may be the last one to review this mascara.

Directions for use:
* Start with the upper lid. Brush the underside of lashes in upwards strokes.
* Next with downward stokes brush the upper side of the lashes of the lower lid.
* Next with downward stokes brush the upper side of the lashes of the lower lid.
Packaging: The mascara comes in a sleek & slim black tube. It has a same colored screw cap. Tube is very light weight and spill proof which makes it easy & safe to carry. The wand is a very pretty. The brush is angled and shape of the eye. The brush is equally distributed and small bristled. The wand is long enough so makes it easy to use. Overall packaging is very attractive & instantly draws attention.
My opinion about this product: I absolutely love the brush design & found it very convenient to use. It really helps to apply the mascara very well, right down from the roots, all the way. But a bit problematic for the lower lashes, due to the shape of the brush. So you need to be very careful. The closely spaced bristles mean that it grabs all the lash hairs in one go and has a good grip on them.
The color is a deep, dark intense black. It really darkens my lashes, gives a natural look and defines them well. I already have thick & long lashes but if you have thin & small lashes then let me tell you that the formula neither volumizes nor lengthens considerably. Can’t blame the product as it didn't promise to do either, anyway. It doesn't weigh down; neither clumps the lashes nor turn them stiff when dry.
It is water resistant to a great extent but not exactly waterproof so be careful before dancing in the rain. Lol.. If we talk about curling, I could see very less curling.
How to remove: Wipe with a cotton pad soaked with make-up remover.
What I like about this product….
1. No clumping or weighing down.
2. Easily available & affordable.
3. Gives a natural looks.
4. Travel friendly packaging.
5. Doesn’t irritate my eyes.
6. No hardening of lashes on drying.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Not completely water proof.
2. Doesn't give much volume to lashes.
3. Difficult to apply on lower lashes.
4. Curling effect not much effective.
