Garnier Sun Control Daily Moisturiser with SPF 15 Review

I am back with one more product of Garnier. It is called Garnier Sun Control Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15. This product goodness is it’s combination of Sunscreen and moisturizer. So here is my complete review on it.

Product claims: Its special formula blends a moisturizer with selected ingredients:

Formula with Mexoryl SX , a revolutionary patented molecule, to give protection from sun’s UV rays.

Vitamin E to help protect against free radicals and help delay the signs of ageing.

Glycerol and extracts of coriander to retain the skin’s moisture and prevent it from drying while nourishing.

Ingredients: Mexoryl SX,Vitamin E, Glycerol and extracts of coriander.

Packaging: This lotion comes in a flat white colored oval shape bottle. I bit different from traditional packaging. It has a orange color screw cap. Overall packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

My opinion about product: This lotion has orange color tinge and is pretty in nature. Whenever you try to squeeze it out, it comes more than required. A very small amount is enough for application though it takes time in absorbing.

As this lotion claims to be a Sunscreen as well as moisturizer but I feel it satisfy property of none. Neither it neither moisturizes well nor protects from UV rays. Above that it makes skin greasy and after its application skin sweats like hell. The same phenomenon was with Garnier’s Day cream also. Hence making it suitable for dry skin but big “No” for people having oily skin like me.

What I like about this product….

1. Has SPF -15.
2. Easily available in local as well as online markets.
3. Combination of moisturiser and Suncreen.
4. The packaging is nice and sturdy.
5. Pea sized quantity is enough to cover face.

What I do not like about this product….

1. Runny in nature.
2. Takes time to get absorbed.
3. Makes my skin greasy & sweat like hell on application.
4. Not suitable for oily & combination skin.
5. It’s a sticky lotion.
