Hello Dolls!!!

As I told you earlier that nails are most neglected part of women's body. Most of us don't pay attention to one nails and the remaining ones who pay attention get afraid of visiting parlour again and again. Some don't have time and some don't want to spend so much money for it.
I thought, why shouldn't we learn manicure & pedicure at home. So that your nails get spa/parlour effect and it doesn't affect your pocket also.

What you will need:

1. Cotton balls
2. Towel
3. Nail cutter
4. Nail filer
5. Buffer
6. Cuticle remover
7. Nail paint remover
8. Nail paint
9. Hand cream or moisturizing cream
10. A bowl with lukewarm water

Method:

Step 1# Remove the old nail paint:

First of all take off the old nail paint from your finger nails. Use a good quality of nail paint remover for removing nail polish. Two types of nail paint remover are available in the market.

(i) acetone remover
(ii) non-acetone remover

Try to use non-acetone remover because they are harsh in nature. Soak a cotton ball with some remover and gently rub it above your nails.

Step 2# Trim & file your nails:

Next step is to trim and file your nails to a length of choice. First trim the nails with the help of a sharp clipper or scissor. As for shape, you can keep it square or rounded depending upon your preference. Now take a nail filer and start filing your nails in one direction. Once you are done, with the help of a soft buffer make the surface of each nail smooth.

Step 3# Soak your hands in lukewarm water:

In a bowl take lukewarm water and add a moisturizing soap or a tablespoon of your favorite liquid soap. Now soak your hands in that for around 10 minutes. It will help in making the cuticles soft and loosen up the dirt below your finger nails. Finally wash your hands in fresh water and pat fry it using a soft towel or paper tissue.

Step 4# Remove cuticles:

Now apply good quality cuticle oil or moisturizing lotion on your hands thoroughly. Now take a cuticle remover and push back the cuticles one at a time so that it loosens up. Trim excess skin with the help of a cuticle nipper. Be careful while doing so.

Step 5# Apply moisturizer:

Apply some rich moisturizer on your hands. Gently massage your hands for a few minutes, this will relax your hands. Now with the help of cotton balls or towel wipe away the excess cream or oil left on your hands or fingers.

Step 6# Apply nail paint:

Yay! now we are on last step, apply a base coat on your nails and allow it to dry properly. Then apply one thin coat of your favorite shade of nail paint. Finish it with a top coat. Voila! your pretty nails. When I don’t feel like to paint my nails I simply coat them with transparent nail paint.
